I have a new SS BS that I would like to trade for a Strip Sander...or other SS Access..

Keep the band saw, (Unless it's an extra) In which case Craigslist or ebay it off and use the money to get a separate becnch mounted strip sander/disc sander combo.
I have a separate bench mounted 1" X 30" strip sander/5" disc sander combo that I find way more useful than having one mounted on the SS. I use it all the time and find it very handy. IMHO, You really don't the HP of a SS to run a strip sander.
Just my thoughts on the subject.
