A wise decision to 'restore' before 'using'.

A thorough examination should determine what needs to be 'replaced'.

We be available to help ya! How far to go is your decision.

I am highly opinionated regarding rust solutions. (evaporust and washing soda etc.)

Mechanical removal will do if you do not think good steel removal is a negative.;)

So first question is, which headstock casting have you acquired? A, or B?
