Just got done talking to Dave at Shopsmith... he acted like I was bothering him, as he has every time I have gotten him on the phone. He must be an owner to still be there with his attitude.
Two things I "wish" Shopsmith would do to their shopping system:
1. Add a "Wishlist" so we can remember what we are interested in buying.
2. Let items stay in the shopping cart after we sign out of the site, or overnight.
I buy from Rockler and they have a great system for "pestering" you about things you have in their cart and in the wishlist... I've bought stuff many times on "impulse" due to this. Shopsmith is missing the marketing boat.

I wholeheartedly agree that a wish list is something that is needed. In fact, I believe it needs to be a living wishlist meaning that it grows and shrinks as the situation changes.
I have one only it is not at Shopsmith. It is right here on this computer. I add to it and delete from it as the wishes change.
I maintain it with item description, part number, cost and quantity. Any time I place an ordert with Shopsmith, out comes the wish list.

Wish list would be great. My wife asked me what I wanted for Christmas, but she does not feel comfortable in that she can find the exact tool I asked for. This year I went online to Home Depot and made a list there, and e-mailed it to her. She can then either buy online and have it shipped, or buy online and if the local store has it, go pick it up at Customer Service. I would love to have been able to send her a Shopsmith Wish List like that.
Yeah Dusty, I maintain a wish list also... but I'm saying Shopsmith is missing the boat by not having a wishlist on their catalog site to keep us within their doors in our buying decisions.
For instance, I buy Kreg stuff from Rockler, rather than, say, Beaver, because they make it easy to order what I have listed in their wishlist. I am not as apt to start shopping around to save a penny here and there when I decide I can't live without an item that I have shown enough interest in to add it to thr rockler wishlist.
Another thought is that it is hard to navigate within the Shopsmith catalog... a wish list would make it easier to spend money with them. Seems to me that would do more to help their sales than a "$10 shipping promo.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Back in the Day I remember a few of the customer service reps knew their customers. I know my wife would call for birthdays and Christmas and they could tell her what I had, what I was asking about and things I mentioned I wanted to have.
Today they don't even send me a catalog. I figure they need me more than I need them and they can't be bothered by sending me a catalog I can't be bothered ordering. So I will sit on my order that is well over a couple hundred bucks.
If it gets high enough who knows I may just buy another tool.

Customer service at Shopsmith if asked what I might need from them, would have to tell my wife I already have purchased at least one of each of everything and don't need anything at all. Now what fun would that be?!. Jim

Ed,
Shopsmith sent out a Happy Holidays catalog a couple of weeks ago. It's nothing like the catalogs prior to 2008 as far as carrying their entire inventory, but it's nice to look at vs web site pic, nevertheless. If you order prior to Dec 31, Shopsmith includes a $15 gift card <mention code HMF-12> when ordering anything over $75 which equated to a 20% discount.
It's hard to believe the plastic power couplers (503574) are up to $21.59 plus shipping a piece, but you can get two for $34.38- a savings of $8.60. Years ago, I always ordered one or two whenever I made an order.
You can easily find most of the Holiday catalog items in the New Products section of the Products on the Shopsmith web site. I saw two new products in the Holiday catalog: the 5/8" Keyless Drill Chuck and a Gas Spring Table-Raiser. Tempting! I will resist!
One Greenie, Two Mark 7s,Three 510s and much more…
Those shopping list at other sites are nice, in fact I have a few of them that I use.
For my tool orders I use a spreadsheet. I can add more information like catalog pages, and see totals and explore different buying options. When I get an order ready I can then look at totals for postage reasons or money at hand and alter the order. I can make a second or third order up and not forget things I had wanted to get but didn't at the time.
Here is an example of my shopsmith orders from my 2013 budget.

I've done this for year and it works for me.
