G3 received?

Post by kbuzz »

Has anyone received their G3 yet. I've had mine on order since Jan 10. Not yet received.
No indication from SS that it is on back order or when I might expect shipment.

If you call customer service, they'll give you the status of your order. The Nova stuff gets drop shipped from Teknatool, so I guess it all depends on when Shopsmith places its order with them.

I assume you have GOOD reason to believe that it is ON ORDER. Like you received an online notification or you talked to customer service (and have an order number).

I ordered a Christmas present for my wife one year and waited until two weeks before Christmas to followup. I'll never do that again. The order never did get placed.

I called customer service. They indicated that order had been placed with Teknatool and thought I should be receiving the G3 sometime next week.
So... I'm on standby.

I have yet to receive mine...I made the mistake of seeing a SS e-mail with the subject noting that my order had shipping and without reading the e-mail, just assumed it was en route. Now looking at the e-mail, it's the other items I ordered that were shipped directly from SS that are en route and due to arrive in the next 1-2 days. No mention of the status of the Nova chuck, other than that it was ordered. The tracking # and order status info just relate back to the SS items, while the Nova chuck just says shipped and "drop ship" next to it with no tracking # or other idea of status or expected arrival date. Hopefully next week some time...

Thanks - I was pretty happy when I found that button, although I quickly realized it should read 35 years at this point, which reminded me I'm getting old...I guess getting old beats the alternative.

Mine arrived yesterday also.
Started using it right away.
So far I'm quite happy with the purchase.
