Wallpaper on your screen, what ya got?

Post by reible »

The last few days I've been doing some sketchup drawings of spring projects, reading email and well yes reading post here.

My wallpaper had been some ice with crystals growth on top from a local stream midwinter in the Midwest. It wasn't very spring like and frankly I've about had it with this winter season, and need no more reminders that it is still 43 degrees in the shop.

The other night we went to the Menards store and it happened to be dusk so I figured I'd snap yet another sunset. I put this up as my wallpaper today and I think it is brightening my disposition.

Here is the picture, of course it looks a lot better in full screen mode.

Anyone else care to share their wallpaper?

Mine on my desktop at work is the same as my avatar here...only much larger and in much higher resolution. It fills up my 24" monitor nicely;)

On my tablet and cell phone, I prefer the live wallpaper that is just dark red and black globs slowly moving around.

Thanks

My favorite picture

My wallpaper is a bit more personalized. It is one of my favorite pictures of my two younger daughters. It was taken at night after a football game (the younger one is a bandie) so all my icons are easy to see on the screen.

They live about 100 miles away and I don't get to see them as often as I'd like, so this helps me to feel connected between visits.

Can't post it with the iPad, but it rotating images of Disneyland, although we are planning a trip to Disneyworld (there goes the PP money). If I could find a theme for Windows 8 it would have been that.

I rotate 8-10 pictures. This is one thats up now. My youongest boy (19) on top of a rock area above our little cabin neighborhood overlooking Lake Cascade. I think he was parting the water, but it didn't work. I told him he wasn't high enough.
