Lowes Shopsmith Demo Schedule

Post by transplanted »

I'm in Eastern North Carolina. Does anyone have any information about Shopsmith Demo's at NC Lowes? Heck, I'll even broaden it and say anywhere within my state?
I have a 510 and am looking at the PP DIY Upgrade. It's more doable through Lowes because I don't have to upfront the total cost.
I've searched, and have come up empty on this.
Last resort is I can just order this upgrade off Lowes site and have it sent to me that way, but the Demo would also tack on a nice little discount, which would be easier selling to the "Boss".
Thanks
Stan

Here is the schedule. You might just have to wait until next year. If there was one near me we could work out ordering it and shipping to you.

Thanks, I did see that schedule earlier but didn't see anything there that indicated this was an in-store Lowe's schedule. Guess it is though.
Not sure if I can / want to wait until next year.
I'll work on sweetening up the Boss for awhile before I make my...I really need this, and we can get it from Lowe's pitch.

Thanks for the link to the demo schedule. As far as I know, it's been years since there was a Shopsmith demo in Alaska. There used to be regular seminars by Doug Reid, Rick Davis, and others, as well as a booth at the state fair every year, but that has been awhile. I already have the Power Pro, but it's always fun to watch the demonstrations. I notice that there is a five day break between the Anchorage and Fairbanks demos, so maybe someone will get to do some fishing and/or sightseeing.
