East Coast. Might be a good deal if you can talk them down a couple hundred.

Yes he may be high and the jointer is very rusty. Hand crank on the planer too would get old fast on a long board.

I have a 520, bandsaw, jointer, scroll saw, powerstation for $1200.00 in Michigan which I think is reasonable. No rust either!

Are you saying you are selling yours or there's one on Craigslist or E-bay?

Since the planer itself is not in sight, we do not know if it has a 'feed' crank. FWIW the manually operated feed crank turns quite easily.

Rust that thick is not usually found on well cared for stuff kept indoors!!

I believe I saw the manuel and it had a crank on it if that is the same add.
I do have the above mentioned SS tools on sale on CL for $1300. I do have pics but can't upload them in here. I have pictures on alisfair@aol.com should anyone be interested.
By the way I hope I am not violating the rules by using my email address. Even with the instuctions I could not figure out how to upload them.

The 'crank' in the pix on the manual cover is the table height crank. That pix also shows the feed motor. However the manual covers both 'models'(see two numbers upper right).

I bought one of the old planers several years ago. When I received it discovered it had the hand crank b ut had been updated to power feed. I love my planer. Jim
