Mark 2 for sale

Post by jayp413 »

I know Mark 2's have their drawbacks, but this one looks nice and clean for anyone looking for one to complete a collection!

Hmmm I didn't see that in the listing. Did you call on it or is it obvious in the picture?

Unless the lower half of the headstock is empty, there's a motor down there.

The MkII is kinda like the ER, as far as the headstock is concerned, except the motor is enclosed, as is the belt. (Yes, you've got to take off the belt cover to move the belt from one pulley to the other. I'm pretty sure it has the same 3 step pulleys as the ER, too.)

But, the way tube spacing is the same as the MkWhatever, and mK5/V headstock will fit.

On further looking, that dark grey thing under the headstock "could be" a capacitor. (Which would mean there's a motor inside.)
