Today in the shop (big table for the bandsaw)

I had commented recently about how one can increase the size of the bandsaw "table" if you have a 510/520.

Sometimes it is easier to see how this works in pictures. This is just one of the ways of doing this depending on what you want to do.

Keep in mind I have some extra hardware (one leg) shown but you can pick up extra parts as well and make this even more complex and larger. Note too that I used a fixed extension as a floating extension in front of the bandsaw. Not so many rules needed, more just imagination and giving it a try.

Thanks for the tip! Is that a '78 Chrysler Cordoba in the first pic? Unbelievably clean looking!

Your are close. It is a 1979. Just over 40K miles.

How could you have read my mind!

I was trying to figure out to support a big awkward cut using the wobbly stands I had and NEVER gave using the tables a thought.
