Post by drbailey »

I have been looking for and purchasing pieces for my newly aquired SS. I have several item from E Bay.
Also I was out of State last week , i did some shopping at a Menards store,my first visit there.
I got a chisel set, two flexeble fine tooth hand saws, two vises,20 different size wood clamps,a large triangle square,
cant think of what else right now.
I built a second heavy work bench. Im getting things pretty well lined out for some Winter projects.Like a kid with new toys, Im liking it!ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Just an observation, the 5/8" saw arbor appears to be for a 510/520 while the worktable and the saw arbor that was shipped to you with those nice blades are for a 500. Be careful with the 5/8" arbor if you are using it with a 500 lower saw guard.

That WAS a first order mistake, and I was hoping someone would post about it with that very info for me.
So thanks for the helpful info. I did get the proper arbor with the blades. You see I didnt know that my SS was a 500 or what it was when I bought it. The guy that sold me the blades helped me to understand what I have. It is a 500. Thanks again, Im here to learn.
