Being in far North Texas I fight the heat in the summer and cold in the winter. I like to keep the door to the shop open for light, but it makes it hard to keep it cool or warm. And in the evening the lights bring the bugs in like crazy.
So I ordered a set of "cool curtains" heavy plastic strips that they use on walk-in freezers. But these have a twist they are tinted yellow and have centranela embedded in them to repel bugs. I have had them up for two weeks now, they work great!! The A/C no longer has to cool all of Texas and the bugs don't invade. I really like the curtains and they were very easy to put up. You can remove strips to create ventilation if you want.

Sounds near perfect.
So, where'd ya get em? And btw, how opaque are they? My garage door is 30 feet from da street and I'd rather not advertise what's in it.
Thanks for posting this. I've been thinking about doing something like this for some time.
