By the way, if you're interested in seeing what Obamacare plans are available and at what price, go here: http://www.thehealthsherpa.com/ (If you want to compare to the government's ineptitude, that web site was made by 3 guys in 3 days.)

I just got the same thing. 7 million people live in the DFW metroplex so I'm betting it's not location causing the error.

All I know is I have great insurance which I pay $34 a paycheck for, and I'm going to have to pay another ~$5.50 per paycheck in govt fee because our company self insures. Not sure what that has to do with the price of tea in China.

What really gets me about the whole ball-o-wax, the required coverages.

For instance, a single male, with NO dependents, has to have maternity coverage. Just what the he** am I going to do with maternity coverage? Lucky for me, I'm exempt from Obamacare, being a service-connected disabled Veteran.

It appears to work well for me. I don't have the data required to validate the figures but all of the functions seem to work.

I think they call what you are experiencing, beeg, a glitch.:eek:

That's how I feel about my cable company. I get channels I don't want or need. I guess there would be hundreds of different options on insurance packages if you wanted to pick only what you think you need a la carte style. That's how they keep the costs down, have fewer plans to administer and keep track of. It's just like the stock market hitting 16,000. It's going to happen no matter how you feel about it. I'm just going to go with the flow and see how it all works out in the final analysis. Now I going to go into the shop and work on something I do have control over, finishing my 90 bowls. :cool:

One more thing;

How, legally, can any President "just change" a law?

He is becoming a despotic dictator. And, reducing the best Country on Earth to pettiness.

Don't get me wrong, I think the current batch of Republicans are just as bad! (Including my 2 Senators!)

Well, you didn't think they'd design a policy just for you, did you? And how much extra does that maternity coverage cost? That would be the cost of maternity care (a big number) multiplied by the chances of your getting pregnant (0). Last I remember multiplying anything by zero leaves zero.

Sorry Dave, but ALL Obamacare policies require maternity coverage, as well as a few other things that I won't need. Gynecology visits, PAP smears, and a host of other strictly female procedures, that not only will I not need, but am REQUIRED to have. (Or, would, if not for my VA coverage.)

And, yes, females have to have male-only coverage, too.

Why?
