I gradually over came the damages that I caused but I got overly aggressive during my recovery and I paid a price. You don't want to go there.
I am still being quite careful... Sometimes when I say "we" it is because we are both out there. Most of the time I should say "she" because she is the one doing the work... I'm just there to point and give instructions. I'm really good at pointing.
When "we" sat the new water tank (300 gal. Rubbermaid) the guy at the store put it in the truck and "she" unloaded it at home. Then when we found that it had a defect she called our daughter-in-law (lives at the north end of the farm) to help her load it back in the truck to return it for a good one. I was there so it was "we" but I was just pointing... "she" unloaded the replacement tank and slid it into position (in a fence line accessible from 2 lots) and dragged out a hose to fill it. At that point I was unnecessary even for pointing. Still, I was there.

I think I understand. "We" are making a big pot of soup right now.
I peel and cut the potatoes, carrots, rutabaga, cabbage, onions, celery, etc. and I cut up and seared the meat. We are making soup.

I know that "we" very well - "we" got a whole lot of winterizing done around the property in the past month, while the other "we" seemed to get a lot of Facebook and Netflix viewing done...hopefully it won't take something as major as this on my front to tip those scales to a more collaborative equilibrium
Glad to hear you are up and about and I'm sure the fresh air is helping with the healing. Also glad to hear you married a team player - make sure to get her an extra nice X-Mas present
