Restoring 10ER Shopsmith

Post by greg1m53 »

Finally have time to get at restoring my shopsmith 10er
As always taken down to bare metal as no primer was used in painting these.
Used metal prep for bare or rusted metal to neutralize any rust or metal,
cold zinc compound so rust can not bleed thru.
Etching primer, then on to painting.
Really enjoying restoring this Shopsmith for the basic design and reliability
