Seeking Advice... to become a Shopsmith owner

Thank you everyone for the advise. I decided to order the Mark 7 and picked it up in Dayton when I was visiting family. I am wiring up my garage and will install it this weekend. I am pretty excited as I suppose most are. I was not able to see the demo, but contacted the demonstrator and received the demo discount. I have been reading forums and watching quite a bit of youtube. Any advice for a new Mark 7 owner is greatly appreciated.

Read and understand the safety precautions!!!
Especially if you are new to power tools of this size.
If in doubt about any understanding, we are here!!!:)
Try out the functions you will be using before doing actual productive work.
Most important, think while using this beast. Always know what will result from any action by you. Always stand clear of any 'possible' projectiles.(if kickback is not something you understand, get that understanding before using as a table saw).
Do read PTWFE cover to cover!!!
If the self study course was included, do it!

reply to Sapperpete on limited space
I was fortunate to be able to purchase my Shopsmith new in 1987. I always tell friends that I use my "half" of a two car garage. I know that I am working in limited space and what ever I build for my half , I am glad to accept the fact that I will not get more space. My Shopsmith is the first big purchase in woodworking. I do not dream of separate machines and more space. I am not a fan of "bigger is better and need two of these" I hope you will be glad to get your Shopsmith, weather you buy a new, or well taken care of one. I say use what ever you buy and learn to enjoy making projects. Thanks , BELLHEAD in West Virginia

As a new woodworker, this book is invaluable to me. In fact, I liked it so much I have 3 different revisions of it!

So I went to take pictures and realized I actually have 2 revisions and the self study course. I cracked the cover on the self study course when I first got my shopsmith and assumed it was a pictureless copy of PTWFE (the side is deceptively labeled ]http://i1275.photobucket.com/albums/y46 ... d26439.jpg[/IMG]
