Universal lathe tool

Post by oregondon »

I am in the process of turning two table lamps and just got my new universal lathe tool. Wow! What a difference. Solid as a rock and easy to adjust with a good range of motion.

Also got tool rests from Best Wood Tools which are a vast improvement over the SS issue stuff. I had previously ordered the carbide tools from Easy Wood Tools and they are fantastic.

If you turn at all, do yourself a favor and do what I did. You will smile and be happy.
I'm a self-made man but if I had it to do over, I think I'd call in someone else.
