Well the LOML got tired of me turning the house upside down and frowning. "Why don't we just take a drive to Woodcract?", she asks. Never having heard these words come from her mouth I made sure she wasn't feverish and put her into the car! I got the strips I needed, a few spares for the future, and a Wixie! She happened to find a few of their project plans. All is now well with the world....

If you're stupid on this matter you're not alone. I had exactly the same problem and after a couply hours messing with it I finally got out my files and made the blasted things fit. Didn't take long and wasn't too awful much bother, really, once I had made up my mind to "just do it".ChrisNeilan wrote:I purchased an Incra Miter Express ...Went to put it together and found that the "expansion mechanisms" in the utility plate bottom out in the miter slot preventing the plate from sitting flat on the table. If I remove them completely it sits flat but has a little to much play. Any suggestions before I call Incra or Shopsmith and show them how stupid I may be?:(
Thanks in advance
Oh, yeah, DO get and install those slider strips btw. Major good.
