web problem?

Post by wa2crk »

Recently I have some problem with this site. About 11:00PM for the past three days the site slows down to a crawl or I get the message that IE can not display the page. Other times I get the message that the page is done but with :errors on the page" but the page never comes up and my home page remains on the screen. The problem only seems to occur between 11:00 PM and 9:00AM and ONLY with this site and has been consistent with site.
No other sites are affected. Anyone else have any similar problems?

The site was recently down for maintenance but came back at about the time previously announced by the administrator. Then this morning, early, it was down but, obviously, is back up now.

Yes, it was down for me late last night and early this AM but came back about an hour ago…I assume just more maintenance or a minor web hiccup but all seems good now.

Sometimes, the bridge networks in your area or the bridges that connect your area to this website may be down for maintenance. Rather than re-route your connectivity, they just let you be down for awhile since their maintenance will be rather quick. Had another site that I visit was blocked for me but many others were able to get to the site at the time I was blocked. Just saying that it's not always the site.

Web Server Down

Post by admin »

The web server was down last night from an unexpected problem. A reboot this morning brought it back up, but I'm still investigating the cause.

Still using internet exploder, firefox will likely work much better. Some people like Chrome, but I find it to be weird.

Yesterday (20140428) I could not connect to this site. No name resolution. I'm using the Google DNS and everything else I tried was working as expected.

For several days previously (Since Wednesday) I was getting connection reset by server messages. I'm on the forum around 0500. If I don't get in I don't try until the next day.
