Request for suggestions

My current project is a 18 in dia round table with a 2 in skirt. I would like to put a bead frieze band on the button edge of the skirt smiler to the pictures below.

Does anyone have a suggestion how I could find this type of molding or maybe make bead frieze molding. The beading on the example looks like it may be turned The tool marks seem to run at 90 deg to the length of the beading. I have no idea how to turn something that small. My idea is to grind a concave tip in a drill bit with a dremel tool. Use the bit to make a line of half round beads on stock the same width as the diameter of the beads. Leaving a small web between each bead Then cut the beads off the stock leaving the web intact.

No, I have no idea how to approach that. I can't tell from the images but are those possibly individual beads set into a small hole.

I do not think so they may be individual beads glued to a backer then applied to piece.

It is available from Rockler, Bead Molding, and I am sure from many other sources.

Check in the Molding section at your local lumber yard/ hardware store first, they will most likely have it there.

Maybe done with some kind of ball shaped bit down the edge of a board then cut into a moulding strip ?

Thank you for the link. I am not going to confess how much time I wasted looking for bead molding.

Thank you that is exactly the type of cutter I had in mind. The image has a link describing it as a ball cutter I will start there.
