Here, we call them "STickies.":D Plural of "Sticky." (You know I'm laughing WITH you, bro. Not AT you!)

Joe, wish you LOTS of luck, getting this back together. You're lucky. Shopsmith still makes parts for yours. Bob and I, we're not so lucky. Our version of Shopsmith died in the early '50s. (And, are known to cause more hernias, than the later versions. Check Bob's signature.)

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

I was actually talking about the other support table, but that was also a shrink fit, so your advice was well given anyhow. I already have a bid in on eBay for a carriage, but if that falls through, I'll be sure to give you a shout. Thanks, bud!

I dont know about you BUT I dont have to worry about stripped trunnion gears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bob, at last count you have 2 (or 5) Model 10s. I've currently got 4. Most of what I've seen you showing interest in, is more ERs.

Unfortunately, the Model 10 is out of print, and (in my {never to be} humble) opinion, the better machine. (More properly, the more sturdily-built machine.)

Besides, I was just havin' some fun with you.:D Like this; If you haven't got a "Jethro Gibbs" model coffee table yet, you're still one step behind me.:eek: :D

I know you were and right back at cha!!! I agree, after using my ERs, heavier built, quieter as a whole, except for the Power Pro. I would not want to use one for a main TS, or a TS in general unless I was making miniature things. For that matter would not want to use a SS for a TS unless a 520 style, compared to a stand alone.

You should have gotten that one with the jointer, jointer headrest, AND the speedchanger for $150.

There is one out here, but, alas, I'm broke and unemployed.

You think you have it bad? Not only am I addicted to cast iron Shopsmiths, but cast iron cookware! AND, both of them have to be American made!

You are right about the trim saw on the Model 10. (Notice I didn't call it a "table saw.") ALTHOUGH, when my DC motor was running, I was able to do some lap joints in 4X4s, with a (dull) Magna-Dado blade. It would cut a 1 inch wide, 2 inch deep cut. Skip's DC conversion motors ROCK!
