That 520 deal is a definite bargain.
Would it were near me; I’d be all over it.

I was getting ready to get the phone then I saw it was in NC. Why does it say ( Shopsmith Mark V - $495 (Denver) I was going to be all over it, if it was Denver, Co. It would have be worth the 8 hr drive, but not the 17 hr to NC.

Well.... I guess I'm weak

This was odd

Not pictured was all the usual books
Never opened Brad point bits, Lathe tools, & tool rest.

As I drove away I felt sorry for the guy that sold this to me....
He had no Shopsmith and I had four....

Then I thought just maybe he was the lucky one...
Immune to this disease that afflicts so many....

Does anyone know if the gold tone is thin coating or is it solid?
Will it buff away?

I didn't know what a Shopsmith was...
Three days later I owned one...
One week later I was rebuilding one...
Four months later I owned two....
Ok Ok, I'm up to four now...

I can't see anything that needs buffing!

Did ya drive all the way to Charlotte NC for that? Or keep a different bargain all to yourself? ;)

It was local.. If it would work I'd like to see one all buffed and shiny...

$4.50 each. Shipping is $5.50 for the first, and $2 for each additional.

This seems like a great deal. But I wanted your opinion before grabbing a bunch of these.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
