Quill feed handle
I ordered mine yesterday.
Great idea
In my recent pen making project I have been moving the quill often either during drilling the blanks or positioning the pen mandrel. I frequently would find the handle in my way during turning. This quick index handle is the answer. I ordered the "deluxe" version so I have the option on both sides. What a great idea. BTW I ordered last night and it was not on backorder at that time. Sorry for you other guys/gals.

No need to apologize. You're right on again, Dusty. However I need the longer handle for many drilling operations I do. This new solution fit both needs. Really good product for my use(s).
P.S. Last week I drilled 118 1/2" holes (forstner) for windows in small cars. also 100 smaller axle holes.
One of the issues I've always had with the stock handle is it's tendency to loosen - even with a wing nut on the shaft to lock it in. That problem will be solved with the new handle.

I use a footswitch for the scroll Saw. Maybe that would work for you.
