How Can I Repurpose
this last part, harvested from a 510 rip fence upgrade? Surely it is good for something!

If you add a few more parts to it, you can make a Shopsmith 510.

Other Uses
If you loosen the hold-down, rotate it 180 degrees, mount a small board to the now top side of the arm you have a beverage holder - use a lid - or drill the right sized holes for your 5/16" allen wrench and any other "I need to reach it often" items.

Many will agree on your suggestion to use it as a beverage holder - but I already have trouble with liquids on and around my shop equipment. I scold myself regularly for coffee cups sitting on my tables. Heaven forbid somebody leaves on on the joiner!!!
I've been trying to figure a way to use it for a bench light while at the same time trying to decide whether I have a rail location for it.
Anything attached to the extension tubes becomes part of the "big move" when you reconfigure.
The part of that rip fence that you don't see in these photos has been used as the fence on a sliding cross cut table.

Use an extension tube (either a short one or the 5-footer) vertically and make some sort of a bench stand or a floor stand for it. Then use the "fence clamp" sideways on the post as an adjustable (up and down) holder for whatever you want to attach to it (a light, a magnifier, a vacuum attachment, etc.)
Or if your beach umbrella has a post the same diameter as the extension tube, you could mount the fence clamp to your picnic table or outdoor chair and relax in the shade.
