Chuck:
Congratulations to you folks as well!
We started doing the B&B/Inn thing when I retired about 4 1/2 years ago and have found it to be enjoyable so far, much more friendly and less restrictive than hotels. We try to find older style homes with verandas and grounds where we can enjoy a glass of wine before dinner and the evening air later (providing no bugs).
Whatever you do, I hope you enjoy it.
On the ww side, I just ordered a Worksharp 3000 today from the tool store that distributes Shopsmith in Canada. I inquired about SS specials at this time but he has none so I'll wait until July when we have the cottage in Vermont to see what may be interesting then. The back-order situation makes me nervous as I will only have three weeks in which to take delivery of whatever I may order.

On the shutters I made, I used Basswood for the slats. It is lighter than poplar, machines nicely, is paintable and, also available.
