The X also allows for stools to get farther under if used as a seating place.Thanks.It SOLD! quickly.

That reminds me of an Old Timer I knew here 30 years ago. He was born right after the turn of the century in Minnesota and grew up there. His Dad built barns and houses for a living, so as the Sons grew old enough, they helped Dad. One year, probably in the 1920s or so, Dad got a job tearing down an old barn. Once they tore into it and started disassembling it, they found that all the structural timbers in it were Black Walnut. Naturally, they saved all that walnut and none of it went into framing again for a house or barn. It was worth decent money even in those days. 12"x12" walnut timbers are hard to come by.
