Never seen anything like this (for Shopsmith items) before.

Search for Shopsmith on the Lowes site, and you'll find that they have several Shopsmith offerings, including PowerPro headstocks and DIY kits. But the Lowes prices that I spot-checked are 5% - 15% higher than ordering direct from the mothership.

For my store, they are showing a 2-week lead time. But store pickup or parcel shipping is "free".

I guess it was interesting to me because I did not know that you could order anything Shopsmith from Lowe's except when there had been an in store demo.

If these items can be ordered...can we order items other than these? Items like a new set of way tubes.

Yes, charlese, there is a slight price difference but there are no shipping charges.

And if you are a Vet you get 10% off and if you use a Lows card you can get no interest for 6 months.

If you are not a Vet and use a Lowes card you can get the interest free financing or 5% off.

Wow! Thanks, now I can have a Power Pro sooner than I thought. Shipping to Alaska is insane, and now with free shipping and %10 off I can have a Power Pro for $1933!

If you are doing the PP I think you get 12 months interest free because of the price. At least I did when I bought mine. Check with the store. BTW, all of this is a nationwide Lowes policy so if the store says no go to the home office.
