I am fixin to go to lengths, to go and get another SPT.

The guy wants $450, offers considered. He said that the only thing missing is the key, he made a make-shift key'

Can a new key be bought from SS? Please advise!

For some reason, this lil voice in my head says to not go and get this planer. Your thoughts!

I picked one up a while back and love it. But its hard to tell what condition the one your thinking about is in, that pic looks like a stock photo. I'd ask for some current photos before traveling any distance.

Yes, that is a stock photo off of SS. I guess my current ultimate goal is to eventually build, burial urns. So, maybe this planer would be, just the ticket

Pittsburgh, PA.

Update, no planer. It was well used and in rough shape. I offered a lower figure and he did not bite.

I did however, buy a 510 kit from him. This kit is missing the horizontal tubes, that link the tables together and the legs and connectors. I think I did well. I bought the whole kit (minus, the things I sad) for $200.

Watcha think?

1 main table, 1 carriage, 1 extension table, 2 floating tables for $200 = good deal!(assuming decent condition)
