No, none of those are mine. They were of a good friend, his son and another friend.

Back to justification... I justify expenditures every month that common sense would say no. Personally I justify it / them by the enjoyment I receive, But we all need to follow our own drummer (even if mine does throw in syncopation all the time )

Oh shoot! I am about 25 acres short of justifying getting this machine. Back in the day nearly 40 years ago I rode and raced dirt bikes. Traveled the U.S. Riding and racing so I guess I can say done that. My drive is paved and I have a riding mower. I asked about the speed thinking I could take it to the store. But 45 is a little slow when everyone else is going 60.
I guess I'm going to have to pass on this one.

We have 26 acres and use the old one to pull a 52" mower. There are areas we need to drag to level and then there is the constant maintenance of our 1/4 mile driveway. We have a 3 point hitch, a box blade and a 6 tine tiller that we use often.
By far, the most use it gets is driving the hundreds of miles of trails around here. We've trailered the old one all over the US, and parts of northern Mexico. It's been a blast. There are places in both countries we'd never have been able to experience without the Polaris.
On the road, ours will top out at 45+ mph. And, that's fast enough for me. There are other models that will go much faster but, we rarely ever get on roads where the speed limit is over 45 anyway.

I want one but I must justify it to myself and wife, what do you use it for? How much land do you have? On the road how fast is it? I fear with only an acre of land I have no real justification.

Wow, Gene, what a reward for just getting a haircut. You have to be a very special fellow. I have been telling my kids I could really use one of these also. They seem to pay me no never mind at all. I only have 7 acres but it gets harder to get around it all the time. Maybe I will just have to go looking on my own. Wonder if then I would have to quit buying more ShopSmith tools. But then this is also a tool, will have to liik into this. You certainly must have a very understanding wife......Hang on to her......

We have a Ranger 800XP at work that I use regularly and it is a great machine. We have a 52" DR tow-behind mower I use with it, as well as a dump trailer for hauling supplies. There's no way I could get my wife to even visit a motorsports store, much less do it on her own to buy me a toy - well done!

Let me be perfectly clear. While my wife is a great gal, neither the first one nor this new one was purchased for me! She enjoys the trail rides and even mowing as much or more than I do.
Don't get me wrong, I have a blast driving them out in the woods and canyons. But she's the driving force behind their purchases. I do get to maintain them, though.

Ben, you almost make me homesick. Enjoyment is how I justified my PowerPro.

When in MT we had snowmobiles. There is nothing like the bright stars on a cold night as seen from a mountain top. I swear - more stars than at a planetarium.

Steve, I'm guessing that last winter we got MAYBE 4" total. Historic average is over 17", though. We had a 4' snowfall over two days, about 9 years ago.
My 4WD 250 got high centered....all four wheels just spun. Got pulled out after 3 days, by a train of 3 other trucks.
