Firefox Exploit

Post by tomsalwasser »

Greetings fellow sawdust makers,

I don't use firefox but I know some of you do. I came across this and I thought I'd share it with you.

I updated mine, but it doesn't sound too serious if you don't store your passwords on your computer. Storing passwords on the computer defeats the purpose of having passwords.

Looks like Macs aren't affected by this, this time.

When I started foxfire this morning it said a new version was ready, I'm on beta releases so I installed it without even looking at what it was for. Later I saw the announcement so I was ahead of the game on this one.

With all the flaws they find it is good to stay up to date on your software.
