WOW!

Wonder what this goes for!!!!
Wonder no more.... $1338
You were right JPG.
Early bidding stalled at $561 from g***a. But with hour 1/2 to go n***t went looking for his high bid, but bailed at $750.
Where b***o took up the search all the way up to $1313
Only to be outbid (sniped?) with 13 seconds left from 5***d with a bid of $1338.....

Yeah, I think I knew this one looked to good to "steal"? away. I guess I will stick with what I have ;)

What is unknown(to us) is exactly what that T-13 bid was. It only needed to be at least $25 more than the 'current' bid. It may have been $2k or more.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

Shop Smith multi power tool

http://minneapolis.en.craigslist.org/da ... 93058.html

Looks like it's in really nice shape. 10e or 10er for $200.

So close to my home too. But not sure I could justify about SS in my garage.

Beave,a good price for how clean it is, could be a nice dedicated DP. I am picking up the one I posted here a day or two ago with a speed changer for 275.

Get it! I doubt you will regret it!

It is an ER.

A better drill press for $200 does not exist IMHO.

I literally just got my 500 converted to dedicated drill press. That was $45 after parts. Otherwise I would get it. But I'll pass to another on here if they are minnesota or Wisconsin based. Share the deals I say.

Beave, JPG as always right on, but did not know what you have, my ER dedicated DP with a speed changer is so good on the low speed end, 400 ish RPM, a Mark is 700. But you can add a DC motor to it, 0-2000 rpm, still thinking about that 4-500$ for one.

I didn't say I didn't want it... lol, just can't justify $200 and the space. I am still in a 3rd stall garage, and got a ton sitting there already. Space is a premium and unfortunately I don't have enough.

If I could, I would make the 500 into a mini and use 10ER as a drill press.

Beave, I feel your pain bro, I love SS with how they are built and ease to maintain, and variable speed, my first a greenie, I had to put belts and bearings on, with the help here was cheap and effortless. Now it is a shorty with a belt sander on one end, and disk on the other, or some horizontal boring. I will be honest, unless I had a more modern one and not a dedicated TS I would not use one for that, but for all else are a great multi machine.
