I don't know much more about circular saws than I do about bandsaws. Would you mind giving me a hint?JPG wrote:If y'all had a circular saw blade that 'cut funky' what would y'all do.

Re: SS Bandsaw making funky cuts
Throw it out and get a new blade.
However, you need to get the proper blade for the cut being made. A 1/4" blade or an 1/8" blade
as someone else said is totally the wrong blade. 1/2" or 5/8" is what is needed for that cut. I would go with 5/8". The wider the better in this case.

Judging by the picture, the feed rate appears to have been about 9.7 feet per second. Wonder what it would look like if a 2 foot piece were fed thru at no less than 30 seconds. Might be a useful reference?supermansrf wrote: The blade I'm using is used, but there couldn't have been more than a mile or two on it as everything that came with this one was kept in immaculate condition.
Does anyone have any ideas what I'm doing wrong? I'm struggling here. Thank you in advance

This video should give some insight into why a 1/4" blade is not designed for re-sawing and won't give good results.
