Private message question
How long does it take for private messages to get sent out?
It is now 21:30, and I sent one at 08:30 this morning and it is still sitting in my "outbox". I must be doing something wrong.
Any ideas? Thanks.... Steve

I submitted. I also tried saving as a draft, and then submitting it. And it is still sitting in my outbox.
Thanks
Thanks

Did you send me a PM and then remove it? Someone did, got a PM notification in my email, then when tried to retrieve it this AM it said that it had been removed. Was that you?

NOPE That was me. I sent you an email stating that I doubted your response while at the same time checking the status of my email box.rjent wrote:Actually is is kind of cool. You know what I found. Since you had not yet read your email - it was still in my outbox and it was NOT in SENT status..
What we now know is that if someone sends you an email and deletes it before you get to read it you at least know that there had been traffic.

Re: Private message question
I think this 'feature' accomplishes more in a very simple manner.(although a surprise and took some getting used to at first).
Being parked in the 'out box' until read provides a pro-active means of 'user read' notification.
Also it provides a way of 'taking it back' if the situation changes and it may be 'retracted' before 'delivery'.
It also provides a clue that a respose was contemplated and created, but sadly not by whom.
