Bandsaw While lifting

Do I have any other options besides buying the Eccentric Mounting Tubes? To keep bandsaw on while going in drill press mode.

Reviews on this forum complain that the bandsaw wobbles a bit when using these tubes.

I really don't understand what the wobble would hurt.

The wobble is quite noticeable. Almost like a spring board. If cutting a long board and using the main table as outfeed support, the board will rock on/off the table surface(assuming it is light enough).

It just plain feels flimsey.

Replacing the connecting plate with thicker bar stock 'fixes' that.

Y'know, I keep axing myself the same thing- what would it hurt.
Then I put the offsets back on.
Then I use the band saw for something that demands a little force, and next thing happens is the offsets come back off. I guess I still feel a bit nervous having my workpiece doing the shimmy-shimmy-shake while my hands are anywhere near such a potentially destructive force as a sharp band saw blade, and perhaps I don't have total confidence in the Accessory Coupler being used as an SPT De-wobbler.
Toss-up city: while removing the Saw is not a huge deal, it is enough to make me think twice. But I admit having the drill press mode "at the ready" so to speak with the Offsets is a very nice luxury indeed.

Put the 'stock' tubes on with the eccentric positioning the band saw away from the headstock, then try the table tilt workaround.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I've maxed out the eccentrics. But I'm sure I have not tried the table tilt ploy.
So, this being a matter of truly significant import, I will take that next step and try try again. One more time. A fix would be worth it.

I have not tried the tilt ploy myself. Do reveal the results - please .
