I am retired and spend part of the year in Montana (when it is warm) and the rest of the year in Dallas, Texas. My SS is in Montana, but I have some time, and I would like to build a drum/thickness sander (like Shipwright's: http://lumberjocks.com/shipwright/blog/26701) in Dallas.

If anyone has a 510 or 520 in the Dallas area that I could use to build the sander, I would be happy to build a second sander for or with you and share the material costs.
