The pictures helps me to understand this procedure when replacing the blade tracking bearings.
I have this in a Word document (with pictures) and can convert it to PDF if anyone wants a copy.
Like Tom, I also would like a PDF of that.

It would be interesting to hear everyone's discoveries after taking the PDF to their band saw. I'm looking forward to just becoming a lot more familiar with what goes on in there and being able to work on it with confidence. I do have Jacob Anderson's band saw repair video which really helps also.

I agree the video is excellent. Did you notice the part where he says he does not use any adhesive when he installs new rubber tires? He said the adhesive causes problems and is not needed anyway. My tires are badly cracked and my 2 new rubber tires just arrived from SS.

Shopsmith quit using any adhesive for the black rubber tires sometime in the 1980s or earlier as best I could keep track of. I never used any adhesive on the black rubber tires when I installed them. I used a 3M spray-on adhesive with the orange tires without any negative feedback. I had problems with the orange tires becoming too hot from the saw blade and loosening on the wheel. I recommend the Blue Max bandsaw tires listed on Ebay. I have used many sets of them without any negative feedback from customers.
