Smithsaw

Post by alaskanexile »

I understand there have been a # of knockoffs built over the yrs that have apparently been attempts at capitalizing on the Shopsmith name. Among those, have any of you heard of a Smithsaw or Smith Saw? Or might that more likely be a case of someone inadvertently just reversing the correct name?

I have heard of the SawSmith and the Sawsmith 2000. The first was a radial arm saw by Magna/Yuba. The second was a unique table saw with the abilitiy to pull the blade through the work made by the current company. The blade could also be locked and the saw used like a regular table saw.
