I got a SS510 and an old greenie
I use the greenie as a drill press
than I made a table on the greenie to hold the my jointer, jig saw, belt sander, and lathe tool rest and lathe tail stock
the band saw is on the end of the greenie.
all of them are handy to get to. the greenie is on casters so that I can move it around when needed.

That is a good idea! i like it! It sure makes room for the SPT's without modifying machines. Image

JPG wrote:The first ? is, what can you get for 'one' of them. Then ask yourself what is it worth to you. I think the second answer is a larger number.

Since it is a greenie that you may consider shortening etc. be aware the bench tubes are a larger od than the way tubes.

IIWM, I would not cut any of the original tubes. A pair of way tubes cut 25 5/8 \ 26 3/8 or bench tubes cut 26 \\ 26 3/4 will make a mini. The smaller tubes will fit the greenie castings, but the bench tube spacing will be a bit(1/8") wide. A shim could be used to eliminate that.

Other than the band saw, what 'duplicates' do you have?
I have the bandsaw and jointer as well as multiple sanding disks, a variety of tables for table saw, bandsaw table and accessory tables and two tailstocks and an additional headstock. Also have two sets of flangeplates small and large and two live centers.

Ditto that with 4 and each a different grit, and a conical one.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

I picked up 2 more and the nephew had 1 from his greenie, I set him up with those, I just did not need 2 more. I like the aluminum ones over the steel.
I mean how many do ya need? I am not greedy or do the Ebay thing.
