I'll check into it again. Someone had brought up the suggestion previously.

Our concern was with the Tapatalk agreement. The forum is largely free of ads. The agreement allowed them to run third-party ads when displaying the forum. Obviously allowing, in effect, competitors to run ads on the forum would be a concern for us.

I will take a look again and may try a test install to see whether the concern is a practical issue.

That is pretty cool, did not know you could create an icon that is link to a website on the iPhone.

It actually makes since it is easy to do so in Windows.

I have installed the Tapatalk extension which enables the use of the Tapatalk mobile application with the forum.

My initial testing found no problems. Right now, I'd still count it as on "probation" as I continue to monitor it, although I'm not really expecting any issues.

Anyone, anxious to use Tapatalk, is welcome to use it during the trial.

I haven't used Tapatalk in the past. Once it's installed, how do we access the shopsmith forum?
