So What Am I Up To (since I can't work in the shop)
Well, actually I can work in the shop. I have weight restrictions imposed by my doctors and some mobility restrictions caused by my knees but I can get around.
What I am up to is simple to answer. I have spent more time this past 9 months either in the doctors office or going to and from same than anyone should ever experience.
Today I see my pacemaker technician, the cardiologist and the heart surgeon. If all goes as I hope, I'll be making sawdust within the month. I would like to say within the week but ....well, I'm hoping.
I am just thankful, given all that has happened this past year, that I am here complaining about it.

You are at least vicariously woodworking through all the diligent advice you provide us here!

Dusty,
Glad that you can get out at least a little and that you are recovering.

Re: So What Am I Up To (since I can't work in the shop)
Remember that whittling and carving are woodworking too right along with scroll sawing etc.
I'm at the point that lack of time is my woodshop enemy rather than my former medical limits. That sounds funny from someone who is supposed to be retired.
I'm still working "on" the woodshop and the farm shop both more than "in" them but I'm pretty happy with it. I can't help it, I'm a tool-hugger.
A number of years of shop neglect during the whole health down-slide, bypass and other problems sat me back on my goals but since none of it is income producing I can enjoy doing stuff regardless of where I am at in my "schedule" of things.
