You should see a button to add or search for a forum. Search Shopsmith--pick the one that has the actual ShopSmith logo. You'll get public access, but look for the option to sign in to the forum, and enter your regular credentials. Sorry, this is generic, b/c I don't know what device you are on. Let me know if you have trouble!

Is that "Sent from my ****** using Tapatalk" something people are adding or does the app do that? If so can it be turned off?
I'm already tired of it, like my emails I send from the phone always has this sent from ********* message. I haven't found a way to turn that off either but I wish it wasn't there.

Do a search in the App for "shopsmith forums". Then just select it. It is really pretty cool. As others have said it really makes reading and replying from your smart phone (oops I guess that is now Digital Device) really easy. Much easier than using a browser on the phone.silenthope wrote:I haven't used Tapatalk in the past. Once it's installed, how do we access the shopsmith forum?

Go to your Account settings, Manage Accounts, select your account, select Signature, then Edit signature or just turn it off.reible wrote:Is that "Sent from my ****** using Tapatalk" something people are adding or does the app do that? If so can it be turned off?

Let us know your device / operating system, your e-mail service, and/or your e-mail program/app you are using, and we'll tell you how to disable it on your e-mail, too.reible wrote:I haven't found a way to turn that off either but I wish it wasn't there.
Example: PC - Windows 10, Gmail, using the Windows Mail app -- or whatever you are using.

Yes, definitely on par with the customer service experience we have come to expect and appreciate from other parts of ShopSmith as well!

When you install it, it will ask you what forums you want to use. You type in Shopsmith.com and it finds the forum asks for the login and viola! your in like Flynn ....silenthope wrote:I haven't used Tapatalk in the past. Once it's installed, how do we access the shopsmith forum?
