Bandsaw Retaining Ring - Damaged?

Post by gatheringsplinters »

Howdy,

Can you guys tell me if this retaining ring is damaged or if it's warped to increase tension of the assembly on the shaft? I can't tell from the manual.

The retaining ring ( snap ring )does not appear to be damaged. There is a "wavy" washer there to keep some tension on the shaft
I do not look at the blade tension assembly much so I am going by memory.

Things look fine to me. That is listed as a "thrust washer" in the parts list.

You're find to make sawdust at least as far as that goes.
