10ER on NCIS tv show.

Post by bell »

Just watched a rerun on tv. In the show Gibbs bought a 10ER. Last minute of show he is looking at it. Also you can see the lazy Susan tool cady that was later in a woodworking magazine, do not remember which. Thanks. Ron.

Did you notice, while they were in the pawn shop, right as Gibbs sees the 10ER he forgets why they are there. then he is like Oh I'm here to work not play.
It would be nice to see it in another episode showing it after Gibbs cleans it up and brings it back to life.

I should have given more info. You guys were right. On Netflix , Series 10, episode 5. In the beginning Gibbs sees the 10ER in a pawn shop for $259 and "worth every penny of it" per Gibbs. It shows up in the last of the show in Gibbs basement shop. Thanks Ron. "Bell"

On a later episode, Jethro and Illya Kuryakin, (David McCallum) were having an adult beverage
in that basement, and Jethro used the saw table, as a drink table.

(I HOPE it was some GOOD Scots whiskey on it!)

(I have NEVER used a Shopsmith saw table as a drink table!
Well, not more than 10 or 20+ times.)

(Had a Model 10 set up in my front room, as a "coffee table,"
and it got used repeatedly!) Yes, only a bachelor can get
away with that "stuff."

steve
10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
