What is this stuff?

Post by reubenjames »

I started assembling some things tonight that have been laying around forever. I got to the "new" in box Miter Pro I got on eBay a while back for a good price.
These were some extra pieces that I found in the box. There is a chance I put them there but they are definitely not from the MiterPro. They have some ShopSmith-esque qualities. Anybody recognize what they may be from?

The knurled nut can be used on the larger band saw table with a stove bolt, where the table splits. I also have a couple on my miter gauge extension fence board for easy removal.

The rest??

Be well,

Part of that looks like a pulley guard, the other parts look like a grinder/sander guard minus the plastic.... so color me unsure of what you have.

I feel these are destined for my bin of possibly-ShopSmith stuff but I don't really know.

I *did* find my miter gauge plunger in that collection last week, though. And I found out I *do* have planer mounting brackets, too, so I always feel justified keeping this stuff around.

That 'stuff' is a set of belt guard mounting hardware.

Here's a manual with an exploded view showing those parts.
