I cannot tell from the announcement whether this new Shopsmith-Woodcraft partnerhsip is limited to demos, or whether Shopsmith products will be stocked and sold at some Woodcraft franchises.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out. On the one hand, the price of a Mark 7 won't look out of place at a Woodcraft when it is sitting next to other high-end, like-priced quality woodworking machinery (I can already hear Ed in Tampa typing up his response

). So compared to a Lowes, the Woodcraft partnership makes sense.
On the other hand, a lot of Woodcraft customers are tool snobs who aren't likely to buy a product that they can't brag about to their fellow tool snobs. And we all know there is a lot of (undeserved) anti-Shopsmith sentiment out there among the tool snobs.
Time will tell.
