Jointer Auxilliary Fence Kit

Post by stephen_a._draper »

I bought the Shopsmith Jointer Auxilliary Fence Kit.

http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/cata ... ncekit.htm

In the instructions that came with it is a statement that I might have to drill my own custom holes in order to mount it to the jointer. Has anyone else had this experience? The two mounting holes do not line up with those that exist on my jointer.

I believe the fence hole locations have changed.

I know not why.
