You know he/she doesn't have to be homeless. You can do like I did and make a squirrel house. A fun woodworking project and it is likely you will be the only one having one in your area.

I used plans that can be found here:

There are none where we live, now. Can't say that they are missed as we still have plenty of rodents to go around. But the Rattlesnake and Gopher snakes to keep the population in check.
Well, now that I think of it, I kinda do miss a fall meal of fried squirrel, gravy , taters and corn.

Me too. I used to hunt squirrels in Pennsylvania in the 60's. Sometimes a 20 gauge shotgun but mostly a .22. We also used to hunt (not really HUNT) groundhogs. Just drive around the farm land with binoculars and look for them. See one in a field, pull off, get a good rest and shoot. No permission required. The farmers were happy and that was the way of life back then.

Can you imagine that today. I am not sure society has progressed. Back then schools took a day off on the first day of Deer season.

I used to do heavy duty rabbit hunting here in WI, 2 Beagles, limit 5 a day, season starts in Oct and ran to end of Feb, my son and I could each limit out some days, Ah Hausenfefer, like dark meat of chicken, Squirrel, seems like the same taste, but much tougher? Never had it.
Ya now a days, I wont go there, I am on probation via the Adim.

Yesterday, in his monologue, Jimmy Fallon said, "Several alumni of 'The Apprentice' held a news conference to say Donald Trump should not be president. While on the other hand, Gary Busey went to the park to register squirrels to vote." Who would have ever thought that Busey read posts on this Shopsmith site?

I think the rodents are copulating, not fornicating. Fornicating is what the Hollywood elites do.

Fornication isn't limited to Hollywood. I'd venture there's just as much fornication going on all across the rest of the country.
