After running the PpwerPro for a couple of hours - about 10 to 15 minutes at a time, (Shop Temperature 79 degrees) the top of the headstock was very warm. When finished I turned it on again to listen and feel any air flow. Top bearings rattled a bit - No airflow at the louver on bottom of case. Opened the belt cover and again felt for air flow - none to speak of. Reached in and felt the fins on top of motor - hot. Heat sink fins at bottom of power unit were also hot.charlese wrote:The fan is located at the front of the headstock, (below the spindle)JPG wrote:What direction does the PP fan direct the air?
At this time can't say if it blows toward the motor or away from it. But to hazard a guess, I'll go with toward the motor.
No heat warnings!
