I have a 70's SS Mark V.
I tried the lathe tonight, and it didn't go well. I tried with a piece of pine, squared off.
The ends were centred.
When I turned on the machine, it ran fine, then seized. I feel it may be picking up too much friction on the end point.
Has anyone else had lathe issues? Any hints for me?

I donot think it is the tooling, it is internal, post this in Maintenance, I bet a lube/ internal belt problem. All here will fix, walk you through it.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.
