Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
Probably a long shot since we are in a fairly remote part of the Country but in case anyone from Northern California or the PNW might be interested…I have a ton of 10E/ER parts that were given to me - they were intercepted by my father-in-law from a friend of his who was hauling them to the scrap yard (!). Easily enough to assemble 3+ machines, as well as some SPTs and related 10E/ER stuff - I saved the stuff to spare it the junk yard but I don't have the room to store it anymore and don't see myself ever getting around to them - I already have a 520, two 500's and a 10E to keep me busy. All of it is in good shape and totally functional and I even soaked all of the way tubes in EvapoRust so they are good to go.
So anyway, if anyone is interested and wants to make a trek to Redwood Country (I live about 20min north of Eureka CA) then this stuff is all yours - I just need to find it a good home. If no interest here, I'll post to our local CraigsList but I'd rather give them to a definite Shopsmith user first if there is interest. Let me know if so.

Because they are very rare and they broke (an assumption but probably correct) due to their inadequate design?JPG wrote:jsburger wrote: . . .

I have two jointers, two head rests and only one hinge.

To the best of my knowledge there are no jointer parts in the lot but there are some crates full of odds and ends...I'm not sure what this part even looks like so if you want to post a photo, I'm happy to look

The part is the one attached to the bar on head rest on the right.dgale wrote:To the best of my knowledge there are no jointer parts in the lot but there are some crates full of odds and ends...I'm not sure what this part even looks like so if you want to post a photo, I'm happy to look

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
JSB, just buy all, I need an ER table complete, lost one some where, just hope last summer when moving it did not pop off the open trailer netted down and end up under some ones front end with those 1" steel rods.
Not me, nephew was taking it home to Atown. He is a good tie down, Before Rangers, he did some thing, I cant think of it in Military terms, it was loading and unloading stuff, both inside and hung, he said mentally and sometimes physically in training it was tuffer then Rangers. Sleep deprived/ load, figure weights, plane/helicopter load,/crew/passenger/fuel weight ect, proper way to hang/secure it. All is on you, Transporter/pilots for there safety and the receiver that is depending on it.
That is why I NEVER tailgate a Liberal with a beard in his Subaru Outback/Forester with a rear bike rack with one on doing 72 in the left lane in a 70mph speed limit and the right lane is doing 75mph and in WI, they have signs every mile that say "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT", I have seen too many bikes underneath the car behind them under there front ends, and no, you cant pull them out till the Tow truck comes, and raises the fund end, and with front wheel drive now the boots are ripped to shreds, oil pan punctured by the crank and pedals, and the Liberal in the Subaru, just can say, "I lost my bike"

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Also, a long extension table bracket
or 3? Extension table or 2?
Yes, I'll pay shipping, AND a finder's fee.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
