JPG has not 'experienced' it (yet?).

JPG wonders how it will 'work' since emails seem to languish.

I agree it is a step into the current century. (assuming it is actually responsive and accurate.)

Hopefully it will not compete with personnel that are taking 'orders'.

Now about this never noticed before "Leave a Message" box.(?)

I noticed this evening the chat thingie says leave a message since we are not on line. That certainly makes sense.

I run a Mac w/Safari browser. I did not even notice this until I read this thread. It shows up in the lower right corner of my browser, quite unobtrusive. As I often use chat services with online issues, I like that Shopsmith is attempting to make themselves more responsive.

Ed,
I followed your lead. The pop-up is probably more appropriate on the ShopSmith product pages. Definitely a distraction on the forum.
Dick
I liked that suggestion and the change is done. The chat pop-up is now gone from the forum, limited to the main Shopsmith site.

I also Thank You, however I did not consider it excessively intrusive since it could be minimized at the bottom right location.

Yes it could and I did, but still a distraction for me.
I think the Admin did the right thing by removing it here. Appropriate on the SS site, but here, we all know. I wonder if you were not a member here and just lurking if it came up?
Yesterday afternoon for about an hour here, just a white screen logged in. I wonder if that was when they were making the change?
